BILL brings to Sterling Pointe Farm over 40 years of professional show and training experience, with multiple National and Regional Championships to his credit.
Bill’s patience and thorough understanding of your needs as a rider and the horses in-trusted to his care is evident and on display in the barn and show ring. Outside his professional commitments Bill is president of South Shore Horseman’s Council and sits on the the boards of the Massachusetts and New England Horseman’s Councils.
In addition Bill is one of the most respected NEHC 1 Western Judges.
Roger has been professionally training both rider and horse for over 30+ years specializing in Morgans, Saddlebreds, and Saddleseat equitation and pleasure at the local, New England, and Regional level.
Roger's clients have achieved many Championship wins at such shows as Connecticut Summer Classic, Deerfield Fair, and Octoberfest.
Roger trains horses and riders in Park, English Pleasure, Hunter Seat Pleasure, Pleasure Equitation, Country Pleasure and In Hand.
Roger’s greatest reward is guiding riders of all ages along the path to realizing their goals whether just for personal pleasure or competing in the show ring.
Maria Harrington, is a leading rider, trainer, and coach. She is an FEI trainer and USDF Silver Medalist who has competed through Intermediare I. Maria began her career working with international three-day event rider, Mark Weissbecker, and later focused on dressage with international competitor and German Reitlehrer F.N. Gerd Reuter.
While building her training and sales business, Maria trained extensively with top international coaches including Jan Ebeling, Tina Konyot, Dorothy Morkis, Kathy Connelly, Roel Theunissen, Henk van Bergen, Inge Schmezer, and Tom Noone.
She has been an instructor at several premiere equestrian centers in Massachusetts, Texas, Vermont, and Virginia. Maria, has also taught regular clinics and judged Pony Club, as well as schooling shows throughout the New England area.
Maria, has served NEDA [New England Dressage Association] as a Flextime Instructor, and has coached many riders and horses to USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals. Maria now trains year-round at Sterling Pointe Farm and on Cape Cod. She enjoys working with all levels of riders in all disciplines, and conducts lessons on student horses, or her Morgan dressage schoolmaster, Archie. Maria, uses clear and positive teaching and training methods, and empowers students to develop their own feel, while applying the classical system to achieve personal riding goals.
